It is our responsibility to act in favor of nature and change our ways long before nature does it for us. Integrating social and environmental concerns into our operations is no longer an option, and with this in mind, Ballen is confident in a new consciousness-driven ethos where unique brand growth enables positive impact. From the conservation of the ecosystem through the use of wild natural flora, to multifunctional packaging and the generation of employment through internal workshops, everything is done from a perspective of scalable sustainability.

En Ballen, creemos en el lujo diseñado éticamente y la importancia de apoyar a los locales. Es por eso que empleamos directamente a varios artesanos cuya apreciación personal en cada pieza, valoramos y valoramos. Debido a que la fabricación ética es la base de nuestro negocio, promovemos, garantizamos y mantenemos salarios justos, condiciones de trabajo seguras y un ambiente de trabajo positivo para cada miembro del equipo. Estas condiciones han tenido un impacto directo y positivo en la calidad general de nuestro negocio, lo que se traduce no solo en nuestras piezas sino también en la vida de nuestro equipo y la de sus familias.
RAW MATERIAL
We work with commitment towards a more sustainable future through the constant use of ecological materials and environmentally viable sourcing. We use natural seeds and fibers that are endemic to our region and grow wild throughout the Amazon and other territories in Colombia, where we work directly with the locals who collect them manually. This guarantees the preservation of the ecosystem and contributes to the conservation of species.
SLOW FASHION
La atemporalidad y la fabricación reflexiva siempre alentarán lo que hacemos. La periodicidad de nuestras colecciones permite procesos de producción de ritmo más lento que se centran en las necesidades y la calidad del consumidor en lugar de las tendencias actuales. Nos esforzamos por crear piezas únicas y de alta calidad que perduren en el tiempo.
PACKAGING
Because having a sustainable product is not enough, all of our packaging is inherently eco-friendly. With biodegradable compostable bags and multi-purpose fabric dust bags, we not only build on our environmental concerns, but also allow for contributions from our customers - all items are filled with little notes that can literally be planted to become a "Guayacán" ", a beautiful and colorful flowering tree that is native to our country.
